Current Activities: Justin counsels clients on the legal aspects of running a successful business. His experience includes advising on corporate and intellectual property issues and drafting a wide spectrum of business agreements for clients in industries such as fashion, media, technology, and design. He routinely advises clients with respect to the protection and maintenance of their trademark portfolios, and as part of his practice conducts and analyzes trademark searches and prosecutes trademark applications. He also maintains an immigration practice that focuses on obtaining O-1 ("artist") visas for visual and performing artists. His speaking engagements have included presentations on intellectual property and corporate law issues at Fashion Institute of Technology and City College of New York. In addition to his work as an attorney, Justin is a dancer with Elisa Monte Dance and The Metropolitan Opera, and is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists.

Education: Juris Doctor, Columbia Law School (2005); Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School; staff member, Columbia Human Rights Law Review; Bachelor of Arts, Music, Boston University, summa cum laude (2001).

Justin began his career at Holland & Knight LLP, where his practice focused on complex corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, and asset financing. He has also worked with Kaplan Inc., helping to create its bar exam preparation materials for several states, in the Office of the General Counsel at THIRTEEN/WNET, and on pro bono projects with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Immigration Equality, and others.
