David is also an Tenured Professor at Parsons, the Newschool of Design (NYC), where he teaches Business and Entrepreneurship and is a member of his faculty labor union, ACT-UAW Local 7902, and Adjunct Professor with the Fashion Institute of Technology's Enterprise Center (NYC) where he regularly teaches courses on Legal Basics for Business; Negotiation; and Business Planning and Strategy. David is a member of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, The ABA Business Law Section and The Association of the Bar of the City of New York and is a frequent speaker and trainer/coach on topics such as deal structuring, negotiation and strategic planning. Education: Juris Doctor, University of New Hampshire School of Law (1996); Bachelor of Arts, University of Southern Maine (1993); Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society (1992-93), National Collegiate Honors Council Program Graduate (1993). Prior experience: David has had a wide range of experience including founding and operating several small businesses, practicing at a solicitor's firm in the UK (Finers Stephens Innocent, London), working as a Special Assistant ( US Attorney for the U.S. Federal Government (U.S. Small Business Administration)), and as a Legal Editor and Director of Content Development with LexisNexis, a part of Reed Elsevier PLC. |
